Howdy All,
Well, it’s that time of year again for our annual Shoot For A Cure match. Mark your calendar for October 16, 2022. All proceeds will be going to the area “Relay For Life” team. With the help of many people, we are trying hard to make this the best ever match with many items for sale, raffle, and silent auction.
This is the only routine match that members are asked to pay a match fee. Match fee is the usual $15 per shooter and of course we will take more. The West Point Gun Club has made a special offer, they will donate $5 per shooter for each shooter that will pre-register before the match. I’m happy to say that with the number of shooters we are getting, it makes it more difficult to get everything set up and ready to go by the time the match is to start. If we can get most shooters to pre-register we can set things up in advance to help make things run more smoothly, on time and most of all make more money.
Last year we raised about $19,500. That amount was amazing!!! My moto for the next year has always been $1 more. I know that we can do it. The cowboys and cowgirls have always been a special group of people and this match is proof. I know this amount seems out of reach but I know that this is something that we can achieve. This match isn’t for me but for everyone that has been touched by cancer in some way or another. Let’s do our part in trying to stop this dreaded disease.
If you plan on being with us on October 16, please register in advance so we can raise even more money for them. If you would like to donate but can’t make the match, you can send a check to Sassy Shooting Sours and mail to the address below.
Hope to see all of you at the match. This will be a big day so don’t be late. Gates will open at 1000. You will want to come with enough time to get your guns or gun carts ready, look at and buy some of our sale items and check out other items for bidding.
