Well, in case you didn’t know, it rained in Mattaponi today – a lot. After some hard rain with no breaks, the monsoon started.
We had planned for hot weather. We had tents over the firing line, we had lots of fans running, and the cooler was full of icy cold water. The rain was supposed to wait until we were done! “Win some, lose some, some get rained out“. We stopped after the last shooter finished the second stage. Then we quit when the shooting bay turned into a river.
For those who might be curious, the scores for the first two stages are attached.
For those who were anxious to shoot that match, you will probably see those stages again in August.
