West Point Rimfire match scores Nov 2 2016

Hi All,

Another beautiful day for shooting at West Point.

We want to welcome Bryan Hood to our 22 Rimfire Steel shoot.

Congrats to Don as the overall winner and winner of the open class!
Congrats to Nutmegger as winner of the limited class!
Congrats to Beartooth as the winner of the cowboy class!

We tried something new to add some spice to our game. Pistol busting clays and rifle busting clays, for the lack of a better class name, was enjoyed! Don took the pistol category and Red took the rifle category. Congrats to our inaugural
winners!

WPGC – Cowboy Match Scores – Sunday, Oct. 16th, 2016

Cowboys & Cowgirls,

Our annual “Shoot for a Cure” match to raise money for the American Cancer Society and raise awareness, was another huge success.

We will be sending out another email a little later in the week with the details on what was raised today, but we exceeded our goals.

I should probably write more, but I am way too tired to make any sense.

We gave out awards to all the winners at the match, so I am not going to repeat them here.

The scores from ACES are attached in PDF format.

———- Forwarded message ———-

Howdy Cowboys and Cowgirls,

Well, October is here.  You know that means, Breast Cancer month!!

We will be holding our annual Breast Cancer match on Sunday, October 16, 2016.  Gates will open at 0930, safety meeting and announcements at 1200 and shooting starting at 1230.

We hope that you all can join us.  This is a very important cause; not only to me but to the people you have cancer and are relying on us to help through the Relay For Life campaign.  This campaign also helps with research to find better diagnostic tools and better treatment options.

I’m hoping to exceed our contributions from last year which were slightly over $3200.  I know this is a big challenge but it has been every year and the “cowboys” have always exceeded my wildest dreams with their generous donations and support.

I’m really hoping that you can attend the match but if something will be preventing you from attending and you would like to donate please send a check.  The check needs to be made out to: THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY and mail to Pat Graves 3030 King William Ave. West Point, VA. 23181.  Please also email me so I know to be on the lookout (graves22@verizon.net).  Please do not delay in this because I want to turn in the money at the match and not later.

We will have items for sale, silent auction and raffle.  All money collected from match fees, sales, auction and raffle will be donated to the Relay For Life team.  West Point Gun Club will not be retaining any money from this match.

Mark your calendar on Oct. 16 and make plans to join us. Please come out and help support this worthy cause.  Help us prevent and stop cancer before it touches another one of us.
